Game 2: Chris Bassitt vs. Robbie Ray
It’s scoreless through three when Ohtani homers in the fourth and the White Sox tack
on an unearned run to make it 2-0. Bassitt serves up a Francisco Mejia home run, but
is otherwise spotless for six. The Twins use four pitchers in the ninth to match up,
but it doesn’t work as the Sox tack on two insurance runs on Albies’ two-run double.
White Sox 4, Twins 1. WP-Bassitt. LP-Ray. HR-Ohtani, Mejia.
