Game 6 @MIL: Francisco Liriano started for the Dodgers against Yu Darvish for the Brewers.
Back to the old formula, it was once again the Dodgers scoring first with a 2 run single
by Brian McCann, a sinking liner to left by Liriano helping his own cause and a double off
the walk in left-centre by Adam Eaton staking L.A. to a 4 run lead as they batted around.
Milwaukee got one back in the bottom of the inning on an Adeiny Hechavarria RBI single.
But the Dodgers struck again in the 3rd, as Adrian Gonzalez led off the inning with a hit
once again, Troy Tulowitzki followed him and then Neil Walker turned on a pitch and cleared
the wall, extending the score to 7-1. Another run in the 4th made it 8-1, as Darvish was
fooling nobody out there! At least there wasn't a beach ball on the field.
L.A. got three more runs in the 6th as Lonnie Chisenhall homered after an Adam Eaton triple
and the middle of the lineup chipped away, leading to an RBI walk by Neil Walker. It was
clear at this point that we were going to a 7th game, and as both sides went home after a
12-2 Dodger win good feelings were much easier to find on the Los Angeles side. Liriano
pitched 6.1 masterful innings for the win while Darvish risked future injury going 6 innings
for the loss. Time for game 7, with the Dodgers looking to make history and the Brewers
looking to save face.
Dodgers win 12-2. Series tied 3-3
