Pedroia starts the scoring early for the Mets with a solo HR in the 1st. Aybar caps a
four run 2nd with a three run HR. The Reds strike back with a three run HR from Werth.
Humber enters to relieve Wandy in the 5th. The Reds have two on with two out in the
bottom of the 6th and pinch hitting specialist Giambi at the plate. Kennedy is removed
in favour of Downs who induces the ground-out to maintain the two run lead. Neither
bullpen allows anything the rest of the way (RP for both teams gave up three baserunners
in nine innings). Mets win 5-3.
