A quality pitching duel played out as anticipated. The Mets' Aramis Ramirez scores
in both the 2nd and 4th innings. Tony Campana gets on base in the 5th, steals second,
and scores on a Matt Kemp single in the top of the 5th to get the Giants within one.
Both starters go eight strong innings. Jimmy Johnson comes on to get the last three
outs for the Mets in the 9th inning and the series is level. Mets win 2-1.
